My Vacation Turn Into A Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather was blazing hot, but the ocean wave cool us down. The first day we got there we wanted to go adventure around town. I wanted to go to sleep after enjoying the beach, but little did I know my friends will bring guys back to the hotel room. They were very intoxicated and I woke up to hear a group of people laughing and playing music. I was so mad and a little frighten because they just met this boys. Room service came to knock on the door and told us “turn the music down or leave." I'm trying to talk some sense into my friends, but they really not understanding me because they were drunk. Then, I asked the boys how did they meet my friends, and they said at a bar. I politely ask them to leave, but they refused because my friends promise them that they would give them one hundred dollars to take them around town plus put gas in their car. I told the boys they might had made a mistake because they spent all their money earlier. So, I apologize to them and thought they would leave, but again the boys asked for the money. I refused to give them any money, and then the boys pull out a gun. At that moment I just wanted to pray, but was so scared to move. I gave them the money and they left. The next morning my friends were clueless about what happen the day before, so when I told them they did not believe me. They do not remember bringing back any guys, but then I show them my purse and was empty with no money, and then they believed me. I was relief that everyone was okay, but still upset about us being broke. So, I called my boyfriend and he sent us some money. At the end we did have fun, but we could have been hurt by those boys next time they know not to drink so much.

Global Warming

The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific evidence that it is happening, and human-induced. Global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing. Many People do agree that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the planet. The source from New York Times article Global Warming states "On the one hand, warnings from the scientific community are becoming louder, as an increasing body of science points to rising dangers from the ongoing buildup of human-related greenhouse gases — produced mainly by the burning of fossil fuels and forests. On the other, the technological, economic and political issues that have to be resolved before a concerted worldwide effort to reduce emissions can begin have gotten no simpler, particularly in the face of a global economic slowdown." Global warming will affect human race by combination of violent storms, rapid changes in local climates, disruption of the water cycle and extinction of plants and animals will probably cause local food shortages. Global warming can change the shift of the climate. For example, it will change worldwide weather patterns, leading to droughts in some areas and flooding in others. I hope as human we will take this issue more seriously and try to do the best to save our PLANET.

New Georgia LAW!!!

Banned in Georgia ALL texting while driving and also cell phone use by drivers under 18 years old. I like the idea because cell phones can be a distraction while driving. The radio and people in the car may cause enough distractions let along cell phone usage. I feel sorry for teenagers with permits first they do not get to drive alone plus they cannot drive pass a certain time, and now they cannot use cell phones. Many kids will probably wait until 18 years old to get a driver license. I can text without looking so would I get a ticket because I'm texting, but also making sure that my eyes is on the road? Banning cell phones can help avoid a lot of car accidents, but what about a parent running late to pick their child up and need to use the phone to informed the school on what's going on should the parent have to pull over when they already running late? I do think a lot peope will annoyed this law, but I bet the ticket it cost a lot so people will learn a lesson. So what's next no eating while driving because someone might have look down to pick up the food? The law can go into effect, but that's not going to change the problem it will just be fewer car accidents on the road.

College Life

College is a great place where someone can get a higher education and find who they are. People become more responsible because the teachers expected less from you because it's up to the students to stay focus and stay on track with their class work and homework. College gives people an opportunity to meet different type of people, religion, and culture. College can also be hard especially if you working full-time or have kids or other responsibilities. I love college even though it can be hard at times, but just receiving knowledge makes me understand things better. Many people stay on campus and that gives them more freedom. College life is fun because it has a lot of activities college students can do. Like concerts on campus, fundraisers and sports. College is a great place to go to, but college is not for everyone because it is time consuming, or money could be an issue. College makes it easier for someone to get a better job than someone with did not go to college. So, hopefully people will chose to go to college to get a degree and better themselves.

Education

Education in the 21st century can become better if we make the necessary investments in our children's education. The democratic national committee is supporting education and how to improve it. First, after high school they want Americans to attend at least one year of job training. They urged parents to be mindful on how education can help the younger generation get ready for the future ahead. Also they want to make higher education more affordable by expanding Pell grants, and initiating new tax credits to make sure any young person who works hard and desires a college education can access it. The democratic national committee wants to encourage parents to place their child in a pre-k program or head start program because early childhood education is important. They want kids to be preparing for kindergartner and have the tools they need to get a good education. I think people need to realize that education is beneficial because it helps people understand things in the world. People that do not take education seriously usually lack lot knowledge. As Americans we should want to be on the same page to help rebuild our economy.

My Day At The Hair Salon

Hair salon's is a great place for ladies to get a new look. I went to the hair salon last saturday for the first time because I usually go on thursdays. I arrived at 10am I did not leave until 3pm. I was so upset because I did not know why it took that long. I seen people leave before me that came arrived after me. I noticed that the stylist were talking and sitting around instead of doing their job. I loved the way they do hair, but the time is too long. Hair salon's have so many steps before your hair is style. First, you have to sign up, wash, sitting under the dryer, then blow dry, and style your hair. I started thinking about when someone want to look their best you have to pay the price. Rather it's spending money, or waiting for the service. I went back to the hair salon on thursday and I realized that saturday was a busy day.I arrived to the hair salon at 10am on thursday and I left at 12pm. So, for everyone that like getting their hair done be mindful that you have to go early and pick selected days so you can avoid spending so much time at the hair salon.

The Year "2012"

People are making predictions about the year 2012.Expert claim that these are reason that 2012 could be the end of time. The Reasons are Mayan calendar, Sun storms, the atom smasher; The Bible says it, and a Super volcano. I believe the world is headed to destruction and people should be more prepare and alert. The earth is undergoing a lot of problems like global warming, more natural disaster, ect. As a Christian I think we are closer to the end, but do not know if the year 2012 is the end of the world. Nostradamus also believed that castrophe would happen and the year 2012.He said the world would lead to destruction by 2012 like the changes of climate, economy, and an increase of evil in the world. If all this is true how do we prepare for it? What can we to do to prevent these events from happening? Nothing so everyone need to enjoy life for what it is and just pray about it.
